All Saints Church is one of the oldest temples in the city of Arkhangelsk, located on the bypass channel. The construction of the Church is unknown. But, according to the former, the Church warden K. A. Averkiou, the temple was built in 1864. First mention of the Church of All Saints can be found in the Archangel Diocesan Gazette in 1889.

In 1927 the Church was closed and turned into a storage room. There is information that the 30-ies in the Church building served as transit point. It is mentioned in the book "the GULAG Archipelago" Solzhenitsyn, which tells of the misfortune that occurred in the building of the temple. His 8-tiered bunks collapsed, unable to withstand a large number of people and crushing between a lot of people. They were quickly buried in the cemetery at the Church. After that, the temple was in complete desolation. According to witnesses, were destroyed the dome and the belfry, bricked up Windows, furnace and disassembled floors, damaged plaster, trimmed harness.

In October 1946 at the urging parishioners, with the blessing of Bishop Leontius, the Church was transferred to the Arkhangelsk diocese. The temple was renovated. The first rector was appointed hegumen Seraphim (shinkareva), transferred to this place from the service the rector of St. Elias Cathedral. Father Seraphim was an outstanding organizer, parishioners loved him and respected him.

The subsequent improvement of the temple was carried out for several years, and extensions to it have been implemented in our days under the patronage of the abbots who served in those days.

The iconostasis of the Church of All Saints was designed by the priest father Vladimir johova, and painters of the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius of Moscow wrote to his icons. Currently, in addition to the main altar inside the temple are the commemorative chapel, a refectory, a wafer room and other support spaces.

In 2001, the Church of All Saints celebrated its 55th anniversary since its restoration. Shrines of the temple are the icons of the Mother of God "joy of All who sorrow" and "Tikhvin, Saint Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra, the Wonderworker.

The clergy of the Church makes pastoral Ministry not only within Church walls, but outside, comforting and keeping sick people at home, visiting elderly people living in nursing homes, coming to schools and orphanages, hospitals, visiting the prison population, spending in all these places preaching the word of God and performing the sacraments of Penance, Holy Communion and Baptism.
