The Palace (House) festivals in Baden-Baden is the largest building of such assignment in Germany — the Opera house and concert hall. First time Home festivals with a capacity of 2, 5 thousand spectators opened its doors in mid-April 1998.

Very unusual design of the complex theatrical buildings on the site of the former railway station was created in the mid-90s famous German architect Wilhelm Holzbauer. Converted the old railway station in the neoclassical style became the theater foyer and forms a single organic ensemble with a modern building in the shape of a large cube.
