The ice Palace is one of the cultural and entertainment attractions of the beautiful city of Batumi. The complex is located on one of the city quays on the New Boulevard. Just in their home arena, the Palace can accommodate up to 2, 5 thousand visitors.

The Grand opening of the Batumi ice Palace took place in August 2001, the Ice complex was built, corresponding to all European standards. In its construction was attended by the best Slovak experts.

The Palace was built from modern materials with a unique technology, using the latest design and engineering solutions. To date, the Ice Palace in Batumi is the only sports complex in Georgia that meets Olympic standards.

At the ceremony of laying the Foundation of the Ice Palace was attended by President Saakashvili. Even then, the President stressed that after some time, Georgia will host the competitions not only European, but world class. This unique structure has become a real decoration of infrastructure and the pride of the black sea city.

Ice Palace in Batumi is a multipurpose sports complex. It hosts such events in hockey, figure skating, short track and so on. In the cultural-entertainment complex opened the section of figure skating. Children from 4 to 11 years can choose to attend free skating.
