Holy Trinity Antony dymsky monastery is a male monastery, located in the small village of Red Armored car in the Leningrad region, 17 km from town and 20 km from Boksitogorsk.

The first information about the monastery appear in the life of St. Anthony, the earliest of which belongs to the 17th century. Another source are the information of the late 18th and early 19th centuries, which are the processing of the life of Saint Theodosius of Totma. As of today the publication of monastic inventories in 1583 and certificates of Metropolitan of Novgorod Barlaam, from which one can learn a lot about the historical development of the monastery.

According to legend, the Foundation of the monastery took place with the support of the monk Antonii on the territory of the Republic of Novgorod around the year 1200. It is known that the founder of the monastery was a disciple of Barlaam of Khutyn, who died in the summer of 1224, and whose relics were placed in the Shrine Temple temple.

In the middle of 1409, the monastery was almost completely destroyed due to the invasion of Adygea on the territory of the Novgorod land. They saw the approaching enemy troops, the monks managed to sing a moleben before the relics of Saint Anthony and hid them under a stone slab. Available in the monastery Church utensils, as well as chains and bells were hidden at the bottom Dymsky lake.

In 1578, again followed by the ruin already Valaam monastery, after which the monks moved to the Antony dymsky monastery. In 1919 the monastery was closed, and in 1921 the monastery premises were occupied by the shelter for old people and cripples. In mid-1929 was created by the community, housed in the monastery, which was engaged in manufacture of bricks.

After the Great Patriotic war ended, in private convent was established a school for the tractor, after which there began to operate a psychiatric hospital.

In the early 1990-ies from Antony Dymsky monastery remained only the Foundation of the Cathedral bell tower, two-storey private building, the Church school, as well as some wooden buildings. Since 2000, carried out the restoration Antony Dymsky monastery, which lasts to this day.
