The Church of the Holy Trinity in the village of chernavchicy – medieval monument of Belarusian architecture. The first Church on the site was built in a time when the Chernavchitsy was owned by the family of Iliniches – in the XV century. The last Scion Yuri ilinich had no heirs and bequeathed all his property, together with Chernavchitsy its famous cousin the Grand Duke Nikolai Krzysztof Krzysztof Radziwill Sirotka.

Nikolai Kristof Radzivill Sirotka ordered to build in 1583 the Church-fortress in Chernavchitsy in place of a dilapidated old temple, evidently wishing to give additional protection to the population. Time it was hectic, the enemy could be expected from either side. The temple has a pronounced defensive traits: massive walls, narrow slits, high tower, from which you can survey the neighborhood.

In 1661 on the orders of the Bishop of Smolensk Jerzy Balasore was carried out the restoration of the ancient temple. After the repair, the Church was re-consecrated in the name of the Holy Trinity.

After the Polish national liberation uprising of the Russian authorities took the decision to close the Catholic churches. Trinity Church in Chernavchitsy in 1867 was transferred to the Orthodox Church and acquired a Byzantine features.

In the early twentieth century Trinity Church was returned to the Catholics. During the Nazi occupation of the Church was carried out mass executions, what resembles an obelisk erected within its walls.

During the Soviet times the Church has not acted. Today is an active Catholic Church. After the transfer of the Church to the faithful in 2010, it was reconstructed.
