She was recently renovated, and today, according to residents, best reflects the transition Caorle from the second to the third Millennium. Behind the Cathedral there is a long wall that surrounds the Bishop's residence – Palace, built in the 16th century by order of Pietro Carlo. The Palace is connected with the cloister of the Church, which deserve a special attention ancient frescoes. There, in the center of the garden, you can see the Roman "Vera da Pozzo" - type of well / reservoir, common in Venice.
Another important building on Piazza Vescovado is the City center, built in the first half of the 20th century and recently renovated. Nearby is the headquarters of Ministerstva of Finance and ancient Palazzo Pretorio. Behind the Cathedral begins the via della Canonica, which connects to the via della Sakata and goes towards the old Napoleonic cemetery.
