Dikļi castle is one of the oldest possessions of the family of von Palenov. The estate is situated in the village of dikļi, which is about 40 km from the Latvian town of cēsis. The first mention of the manor date from the early 15th century, at the time the estate belonged to Gottschalk von der Paleo. The estate belonged to the genus Palenov for three centuries, in the autumn of 1722 the estate together with the village of Vicky was sold to the Manager of the stables. Modern building dikļi, built in neo-Gothic style, built in 1896. At that time the owner of the estate was Baron P. wolf. Even more ancient than the estate, is a granary (storehouse) of the estate built in the late 18th century. The crate is made in the style of late classicism.
