Buddhist temple White Lotus is a unique building, unique in Ukraine. Temple is located in Cherkassy city and is one of the largest in Europe. The laying of the temple took place in 1988, two years after it first opened its doors to visitors. The prototype of Cherkasy temple became famous structure in Laos. The architectural plan was created under the guidance of the head of the Cherkassy community of Buddhists - V. Skubaev.

Place to build Buddhist shrines were chosen not by chance. So, the temple is located on the fault line of the earth's crust that creates inside the building, a special torsion magnetic field. According to the visitors of the temple, just a few minutes spent in this place, allow you to get a powerful boost of energy, the effect of which is felt all week. The volume of the protective field of the person increases significantly.

The temple is also an interesting legend that during the laying of the Foundation was found a stone, where miraculously appeared the Buddha image in the mask of a warrior. Is striking and the interior of the temple – the floors are carpeted, the walls are covered with wood and velvet. At the entrance there are two figures of warriors, specially brought from Tibet.

The disciples and followers of Buddhism can visit not only the Church, but also to learn the basics of Thai Boxing and kung fu. Classes are held on five different levels, which correspond to the five animals: tiger, leopard, Jaguar, Panther and cat. School organically combine ancient Eastern teachings and features of the Ukrainian national culture.

Anyone can also visit the tea ceremony, explore the features of the hieroglyphic writing on the calligraphy classes. There is also autocanada in which you can take a photo of the aura. In addition, at the Church regularly holds master-classes on yoga, kung fu and meditation.
