In the historical part of the city of Elabuga is unique in its kind Museum of district medicine that is associated with the name of the eminent academician, neurologist, psychologist and physiologist Vladimir Mikhailovich Bekhterev. The Museum is housed in a wooden building of the nineteenth century the former County hospital.

In the exposition of the Museum presents the history of the development of health since ancient times in Elabuga region.
