Erg Chebbi is a large sandy area, which stretches 40 km from Erfoud. The magnificent sand dunes of Erg Chebbi are one of the main attractions of Morocco. Constantly being on the move, Erg every day creates a unique landscape. Sandy Erg total area of over 100 sq km stretching from West to East at 5 km and from North to South for 22 km, and Some sand dunes reach a height of over 150 m.

Locals have long called this region "the punishment of the gods."
