The Palace estate Gagarina is located at Cape Plaka, in the shaded green area. It has a gabled roof, narrow Windows and a lot of towers in architectural style it is similar to castle of the knights. This Palace was built in the early XX century on the orders of Princess Anastasia Gagarina. Above the main entrance door weighs emblem Gagarin kind with a Latin inscription: "In ancient times is strength".

The Princess lived in seclusion, completely immersed in their own troubles. After her husband's death the Princess Gagarina no longer married. In 1902, when the Princess turned 70, she invited a famous architect Krasnov for the construction of a new Palace and chapel of Alexander Nevsky.

Having built this castle, the Princess performed jointly with her late husband's dream. But in 1907, immediately after the completion of construction, the Princess died, not having lived in the new Palace. She was buried in the yard of the Alexander Nevsky Church.

After the death of Princess Gagarina, the Palace was inherited was handed over to her niece Princess Elena Tarkhan-Mouravi. After the revolution the Palace became the home of rest, and the Princess the rest of his life he lived in his former Palace. When you open a rest Home Princess Elena gave him a large library. In 1922 Elena Tarkhan-Mouravi died and was buried in the Church yard next to the Princess Gagarina. A large library disappeared in the years of Nazi occupation.

From the castle, along with a nice flower alleys, you can reach the Church of Alexander Nevsky, and a little further out on the Cape Plaka. On this Cape remains of the crypt Borozdina.
