East foros is one of the oldest mountain passes of the Main ridge of the Crimean mountains – devil's ladder. Here were the only way to coast into the depths of the Crimean Peninsula. From a distance the pass really resembles a giant staircase with huge steps, which the trail winds. The "ladder" 40 hairpin bends, enclosed in a stone gorge. In 1820 the ascent on the Devil's staircase on the way from Gurzuf to Bakhchisarai did Alexander Pushkin.

The road up is pretty cool, but without any surprises, dangers and dizzying descents. In recent years the Damn ladder was chosen by the owners of mountain bikes.
