Dibba – sea town, one of the most interesting, both in historical terms and in natural landscapes, among the localities of Fujairah. The city is situated among the beautiful al Hajar mountains, near the coast of the Gulf of Oman.

Dibba is an important historical centre of the Emirate. According to archaeological excavations, which were conducted in this area, it became known that the town was inhabited by people in the iron age. Historically, the city has long been one of the important trade centers in the middle East. Came traders from China and India, as evidenced by preserved ancient Chinese documents.

Located to the northeast of RAS al Khaimah town of Dibba is among the largest cities of the Emirate of Fujairah and consists of several small seaside villages. An interesting feature of Dibba is that it lacks a single administration. Conventionally, the town is divided into three districts. One of them is located in the province of Musandam, in the territory of Oman, the other two in the UAE, between the Emirates of Sharjah and Fujairah. Accordingly, the location, the districts are named, Dibba al-Baya, Dibba al-Fujairah and Dibba al Hisn.

Dibba is distinguished for its picturesque places and attracts huge number of tourists from all over the world. It is surrounded by beautiful mountain and sea scenery that attracts all lovers. In winter, it can please the fresh cold mountain air, and in summer – the best beaches in the Emirates and, of course, many water sports. Very popular in Dibba enjoys diving.
