This huge complex, with an area of the Palace of Versailles, was built in 1936. Since 1946, the building houses the UN, successor to the League of Nations, established in Geneva in 1920. You can see the ceremonial halls, where negotiations between major world powers and consisted of many international agreements. The Palace is surrounded by a picturesque Park.
