Church of the sacred Heart of Jesus Church, built in neo-Gothic style in the Austrian city of Graz. The temple began in 1881, the architect was appointed Georg Hawberries is a native of Graz, architect of the city hall of Munich. Construction lasted 6 years and was completed in 1887. The Church was designed in neo-Gothic style with a Central nave. In the Church are stained glass Windows, which are a Prime example of stained glass in the Gothic style, examples of which in Austria remained few. Church murals were created by artist Karl Karger. 12 murals create a vicious cycle that begins with the worship of Christ, and ends with the crucifixion. Each of the 12 images is accompanied by an explanatory quote from the Bible. In preparation for the centenary of the Church in 1991, the altar was reconstructed in 1988 by architect Gustav Tregaron.
