Bharananganam – a place where pilgrims from all over the world. This city, which is located in the South of India, in Kerala, has an area of about 24 sq km and a population of no more than 17 thousand people. But it is a real complex of shrines, the most important and famous of which is the tomb of the Saint Gigolos – first Christian Saint born in India. It is in the territory of the millennial Church of St. Mary. Alphonse was born in 1910 and died in 1936, and the day of her death, July 28, is a very important date for the believers. This woman led a righteous life, and even in his early years gave all his time to prayer and helping people. Over time, her grave became a place of pilgrimage and worship.
