Orthodox Church of Mother of God "perishing" is located in the city of Kharkov, in the square, at the intersection of Lenin Avenue and street Culture, near the monument to soldiers-internationalists, who died in Afghanistan. The temple was built in 2006 in memory of soldiers-participants who died in local wars. The initiator of the erection of this Church was the Kharkiv regional Union of veterans of Afghanistan.
