A lot of small estates were situated in the East part of the County, at the confluence of the River and lugi. They were located along the shores of many lakes and the river Oredezh. From Luga the road stretched to the lake Meryovskoye, on the southern shore of which was located the village of Marewa. Rural lands took more than a thousand acres and was divided between the seven landowners. However, the manor was one. It consisted of a wooden manor house and garden with fruit trees. Perhaps she belonged to the wife of the Lieutenant Ustine Ivanovna Lyalina, because it is in Marevo in 1772 was born her son, Dmitry Vasilyevich, who inherited part of the village.
In the first third of the XIX century the village was owned by three of the landowner: D. M. Lyalin, Lieutenant I. N. Trubachev and S. I. Ryndin. In the center of the village was situated the estate Trubuhovich and Rinding. They were arranged in exactly the same way and separated only by a lane. The third part of the village belonged to Dmitry Vasilyevich Lalin. With 16 years he entered the military service, took part in the Russo-Swedish war (1788-1790, 1808-1809, in the war of 1812, during which exercised command Ceglinski infantry regiment in the corps of Wittgenstein, was 3 times wounded, but remained in the ranks, and in 1813 he was promoted major-General. After the end of the campaign he lived in Velikie Luki of the Pskov province and conveyed his part of the village Trubarevo (made him his heir).
Shortly before his death, in 1847, Lieutenant-General Lyalin presented a plan for a new stone chapel in the village of Mareva approved after his death in 1848. The chapel was built by his successor P. N. Trubachova.
In 1880 both meryovskoye parts of the estates were purchased by merchants Ivan Yakovlevich and Ekaterina Alexandrovna Zabelski. They combined estates Rinding and Trubuhovich, built a new manor house. Currently this old manor house built on all sides, sandwiched modern buildings, and it is not easy to find, although the layout is visible.
On the hill Zabelski planted larch and pine, among which was built cottages, the edge of the ledge of the shore lined and created around the hill walking trail, a steep slope to the lake issued the ledges on which it was possible to get to the lake. Was also fortified the coastal strip, cleared a large field, which was planted with oaks group. In our days it is the most beautiful place in the village, commanding the attention of all campers. In addition, the slope of the hill has the key of the purest water, which is used by local people and vacationers.
In Soviet times, on the foundations of the manor house was built the village school. Some time after the school was closed the building was in a dilapidated condition, and the Park was neglected.
Estate of Mareva represents the estate of the landowner average hand in the XVIII century. Therefore lacks pretentiousness and pomposity, this is just a neat manor house, old Park and the beautiful lake.
Now in a former manor house is a resort called "Myskina dacha". On the estate there are guest cottages, designed for different number of guests. The current owners of the estate revere the merits of Dmitry Vasilievich Lialina and maintain in proper condition the posthumous memorial located in Trinity churchyard, argue for the restoration of historic interiors and life style of Russian pre-revolutionary period, as well as the formation of the Museum in honour of D. M. Lalin. Yet – it is only in the plans, but now the estate each year, the festival "is Not a gift of the whole Russia remembers", which is devoted to the Patriotic war of 1812, and performed Russian folk celebrations, organized according to old Russian rites.
