Falls Pinsel located in the province of Ilocos sur, island of Luzon, approximately an hour's drive from the town of Santa Maria. You can get here on foot from the nearby town of Pilar – a series of stone steps, built in the mountains, leads to one of the best picnic spots in the whole province.

Falls Pinsel is not only one of the most popular tourist attractions of the Philippines, but the place is surrounded by many legends and myths. On top of waterfalls, natural ponds, having the form of a stop - the locals believe that the traces of the legendary giant named Angelo. According to legend, he left them here when he was looking for his missing wife Aran.

In addition to these ancient tales, the waterfalls Pinsel is famous because it is the highest waterfalls in the province of Ilocos sur, streams of water cascade in a narrow gorge from a height of 85 feet. And this is one of the most beautiful waterfalls throughout the Philippine archipelago: the hills on both sides of Pinsala overgrown with large trees which add to the beauty of water cascades. This secluded spot is ideal for relaxing walks and contemplation of nature. In the reservoir, which strike the crystal water of Pinsala, you can swim. And you can climb up the hill to see the traces of the legendary Angelo. On top of the waterfall has a source of hot water, which can be 10-15 minutes to cook the egg! And the water cascades lies a small cave that you can explore.
