Forest spring is located near Trubetskov stream in a parkland setting. It has a tourist path leading through green spaces, which in winter become impassable, so from April to October this source is closed to tourists. But the summer is very nice to walk up from the street Trubetskoi in search of a wooden pavilion with forest source.
About the healing properties of water from this spring was known in the late seventeenth century. Then the locals gave it the name of the source Snejersons. In 1827 it was made more accessible to tourists, covered with stone slabs. And in 1830 over it is built a gazebo out of wood, which in a few years glazed so that guests could enjoy the consumption of water in silence and warmth.
The wooden pavilion was very delicate, could not withstand the winds and the rain. Therefore, in 1840, it was decided to demolish it and build on this place a large building with 16 columns of the Corinthian type.
In 1869, the long-suffering pavilion again destroy and begin the construction of the building in the classical style. Works on the architect F. Sickler, who was quite famous in Marianske Lazne, as have built the viewing platform and the building of a local theatre. Initially, the pavilion was open to all winds. Only in the second half of the twentieth century, it was glazed.
Its name is Forest source received in 1828. It was already known that the water from it helps in diseases of the stomach and kidneys. It can also be used for inhalation.
