Museum of the Belarusian militia was opened on 11 November 1987 at the club in Minsk, however, the collection of exhibits for the Museum it was decided to start back in the 60-ies.
The Museum contains unique exhibits on the formation of law enforcement bodies and the judiciary, starting from the middle ages to the present day. A separate exhibition – a collection of archaeological finds of the torture tools. Walking in the halls of the Museum, you will see how improved methods of investigation and protection of public order Belarus.
The Museum features unique documents and photographs, weapons, uniforms, insignia. The pride of the Museum is the Civil order of the commandant of the city Bowl on the establishment on March 4, 1917 the people's militia. With this document, and began the modern Belarusian police.
A separate hall talks about the heroes of the great Patriotic war and about the partisan movement, which now includes Belarusian policemen since the Nazi occupation of their homeland.

The Museum contains a rich collection of weapons. Visitors to the Museum of the Belarusian police can see the development of the militia, and the armed Belarusian policemen.
Visitors will be interested to see the exhibition dedicated to the elimination of the accident at the Chernobyl NPP Belarusian policemen. The exhibition contains documents, photographs, personal belongings and gear heroes.
