The memorial complex "to the Fighters for Soviet power" in Mogilev on Soviet square in Mogilev was built in 1982 and dedicated to the anniversary of the defense of Mogilev from Nazi invaders.

The monument was created during the Soviet era and reflects the Communist ideology of the Soviet Union. The authors of the memorial complex became a sculptor L. gumilevski, architects K. Alekseev and A. Ivanov.

On a high granite stele with a height of 13 meters installed bronze woman with a height of 7 meters in flowing robes, symbolizing Victory. In rushing a Victory symbolically overcomes the stages of development of Belarus in its path.

On bronze bas-reliefs depict the revolutionary events of 1917, the period of collectivization, the guerrilla movement, the defense of Mogilev from the Nazis after the war. More recently, another track from "the Pride and glory of Mogilev", depicting the famous natives of Mogilev.

The monument is located on the high Bank of the Dnipro river in a picturesque Park. The architects tried harmoniously fit into the landscape. At the foot of the monument of Eternal Flame burns at the mass grave of red army soldiers who died in 1920.
