Calresource Holy Dormition convent is situated on the territory of the protected section of Kalarashovka, on the banks of the Dniester. The monastery complex includes two churches, living-rooms, the house of Bishop. Here are three of spring whose water has healing properties. On three sides of the cloister is surrounded by cliffs and wild forests. On one of the rocks you can see a stone cave, near which there is a cross. It was here 500 years ago settled the first monk, and the cave itself was the basis of the monastery.

Originally this place was built a wooden Church, which in 1780 was rebuilt in stone Church of the Holy Intercession of the Mother of God.
After almost seventy years, namely, in 1853, at the monastery of the means of Duchess, Kantakouzenos was built another stone Church, which was consecrated on the day of St. Mitrophan of Voronezh.

Until 1916 Calresource the monastery was purely masculine, but during the war there came a large number of Russian nuns from Polish cities. The number of sisters has increased steadily in this regard, the monastery was transformed into a female and expanded.

In 1961, had fallen on hard times for the monastery and its inhabitants. Churches were closed, confiscated icons and destroyed the iconostasis, and the premises conveyed to the needs of the tuberculosis dispensary, and later a school for mentally retarded children. And only in 1991 due to the request of Metropolitan Volodymyr, the temple was returned to believers, work began on its restoration.

Currently completed restoration of the Cathedral of St. Mitrophan, and of the Holy protection Church, which was erected in the old Moldavian style. Work is underway on the construction of new living quarters for the nuns refectory, pools with healing water from the spring.
