The main exhibit of the atomic bomb Museum in Nagasaki is the layout of the atomic bomb on 9 August 1945 at 11 a.m. was dropped from American b-29 "Bockscar". The explosion instantly killed 74 thousands of residents and many were exposed to radiation and died from its effects.
New modern Museum building was constructed in 1996, when we celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of the atomic bombing of Nagasaki. The Museum was built in the very epicenter of the explosion.
