Tankograd is a unique Museum of military equipment during the Second world war under the open sky. The Museum is located in Kolyvan ' district of the Novosibirsk region, not far from the district center.

The founder of the Museum was made by the inhabitant of the village of Great OES - Verevochkin V. In 1974 after graduating from school, Vyacheslav Vladimirovich entered the tank school. Thirty years of his life he gave the army. During this time Verevochkin Vladimir with his hands disassembled and assembled a numerous army equipment. In 2006, Vyacheslav Vladimirovich retired and started to make accurate full-sized copies of the tanks of the great Patriotic war.

In just a few years popular handyman managed to collect more than 30 military vehicles, including Soviet armored car BA-10, domestic "Katyusha" and BTR-40, T-34, T-60 and T-26, MC-1, waterfowl T-40, as well as American tanks M3 General Lee, M4A4 Sherman, Japanese battle tank "Te-Ke", tanks PzKpfw 38t and Panzer III, the German guns Ferdinand and Sturmgeschutz III. Copies collected Verevochkina Vladimir in his personal garage, participated in the filming of the 10 movies.
