Velke Losiny is a small Moravian village, which is famous all over the Czech Republic for its castle, often in the local press and guidebooks called "witches castle".

This settlement was founded in the XIII century by the German community. Only after a century, the rich aristocrats learned of the existence of such a picturesque area, which is simply fate was intended for the construction of a luxury castle. Most of the villagers began to work in the castle. It would seem that the prosperity and welfare of the inhabitants of Velke Losiny were inevitable, but actually it turned out that things are not so simple. The castle was ordered by strangers who were giving money to the owners of the fortress.

Only in 1496, the situation has changed a bit. Then Velke Losiny bought a noble family of Geromino. In those days no one knew that their rule will last for 300 years. Permanent owners can take care of the settlements that belonged to them. To say that Serotiny not paid much attention to Velke Losina, was impossible. During their reign, the village received a new Church consecrated in the name of St. John the Baptist, and the barn, built in the Baroque style. Above the portal still see the coat of arms of Geromino.

In our day Velke Losiny is a thermal resort, where you can find several resorts, a host of people suffering from diseases of the nervous and pulmonary systems and the musculoskeletal system. Mineral water, whose temperature is maintained at around 36 degrees, is used both for drinking and for various water treatments.
