Olomouc is an amazing city, where art galleries are nearly as much and fountains. In other words, the art here love, worship, follow trends, I try to keep abreast of new fashion trends. Everyone in the city can endlessly talk about your favorite artist, to talk about the manner of his writing, but if you really ask and we will point you in the gallery, which features his paintings.
One of the most popular galleries is a strange name "G". It is located in a very advantageous position – on a little street that connects the two main squares of the city: Horni and Dolni. The exhibition space is located in an old mansion, which has its own name: "The White Rose". This house once belonged to a wealthy citizen, therefore, has a rich interior finish that perfectly highlights the beauty of the exhibited works of art. The mansion was built in the Rococo style, but the decor of the rooms is made in the style of Gothic and Renaissance. Especially looks unusual wooden ceiling, decorated with intricate frescoes, some several centuries old.
In the period from 1966 to 1993 there was a local branch of the Museum of fine arts. Here were demonstrated extensive collection of graphic works. In 1993, the mansion "The White Rose" was transferred to the Creative Union of artists of Olomouc. This Alliance contributes to the promotion of art among ordinary people that have nothing to do with creativity. It is this organization and is responsible for the organization of exhibitions in the gallery "G".
