The three-story mansion with dark walls and a roof in a tent located on Bulharsko the street, called Stone Villa. Historians consider him one of the most interesting buildings in the city, built in neo-Renaissance style.

This Villa was built in 1913-1921, for the Bishop of Hradec Kralove, Joseph Oak grove. It was assumed that in its interiors will be kept a splendid collection of art objects, which the Bishop had collected for a long time. Therefore the task of the architect Bozi Dvorak included engineering rooms become expensive and valuable paintings, sculptures, utensils.

Bozi dvořák is known Pardubice architect who held a high position in the city administration and personally worked on the development and construction of many houses in this city. The Stone work on the Villa he also drew his son – Miloslav Bashe, a talented sculptor, who was involved in the decorative finishing of the facade and interior spaces. In this mansion survived several reliefs and sculptures belonging to the cutter Bash.

If we go around a Villa on the West side, you can see beautiful stained glass window depicting the virgin and Child. The author of this work of art is Mikoláš aleš. Entrance and interior doors of the Villa are decorated with art inserts, and the interiors are decorated with stucco.

Originally the Villa was a one owner, but in 1997 it was bought by a company that decided to build this mansion apartments for their employees.

Stone Villa served as a shooting location for a TV movie. Director Yuri Fear filmed here dwelling of the devil.
