The impetus for the creation in France of the Military school was the results of the war of the Austrian succession. The victory was, it was not easy. In 1878, in the complex near the Champs de Mars re-opened Higher military school. Since then, the school produces military officers. From 1951 to 1966 there was defense College NATO, but with the withdrawal of France from the military organization of the Alliance, the College moved to Rome. Now the Paris military Academy is one of the most prestigious military schools of France.
