The Palace and Park ensemble of Pavlovsk - a monument of architecture of the late XVIII - early XIX centuries In its creation was attended by prominent architects, decorators and painters of the XVIII-XIX centuries - Charles Cameron, Vincenzo Brenna, A. Pavlovsk Palace served as the Imperial and Grand-Ducal residence. It is associated with the names of Paul I and Maria Feodorovna, Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich and Konstantin Konstantinovich. Today Pavlovsk Palace is a Museum, whose collection includes more than 45 thousand exhibits, includes collections of Russian and European decorative arts, painting and costume, a collection of antique sculpture. The Museum develops new directions of its activity - contemporary art exhibitions, educational activities for children and adults.

For visitors opened the Ceremonial halls of the Palace, the Residential quarters of the Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna, the exhibition "the Decoration of residential interiors of the XIX century, the Museum of costume, the portrait gallery of the Romanov dynasty.

Pavlovsky reserve with an area of 540 hectares, is renowned as one of the largest landscaped parks in Europe. It is the only country Park, which has for two centuries open to the public. The Park annually hosts music festivals "glory, Glinka!" and "Imperial bouquet", mass celebrations and festivities.

The staff of the Museum-reserve operates not only on the return of the lost exhibits, restoration of buildings and interiors, but also on the creation of new programs that meet the modern requirements to the work of the Museum.
