Museum-library of Simeon of Polotsk is a former sister school Jesuit College in Polotsk. On 25 may 1994 the Museum was opened after reconstruction. It is a working library and Museum of the history of printing.
Library-style University libraries XVII-XVIII centuries. Dark wood furniture, ancient globes, busts of scientists and philosophers, split-level accommodation bookshelves design reflect the design of the library in an enlightened time. Visitors have a unique chance to feel yourself a student of the seventeenth century, in a literal sense, to touch the ancient books and tomes. A large exhibit dedicated to publishing and educational work of Simeon of Polotsk. Here you can see his writing table, on which lie, as if waiting for the owner, a written instrument and manuscripts. Here are also originals of his books "the Rod of the Board", "Testament", "Supper for the soul".
The size of the Museum exhibition is 134 square meters, displaying 145 items.
