Wolin national Park is one of 23 national parks in Poland, located in the Western part of the island of Wolin between the Pomeranian Bay and Szczecin lagoon. The Park is located in North-Western Poland in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The area of the Park is 10937 hectares, the headquarters is located in międzyzdroje.

The Wolin national Park was established in 1960 and became the first marine Park moraine topography. The symbol of the Park is the white-tailed eagle, living specimens can be seen on the farm for the breeding of Buffalo, located in the Park.

Dominating the landscape consists of a group of morainic hills bordering the sea and the lagoon. The highest rock reaches a height of 95 m. the national Park is the lake district the lakes formed by melting glaciers: Tatarek, the Varna, Cayce and others. Also in the Park and artificial lake Turquoise, Gardno and Old Cracovian.

On the Wolin island, there are over 1300 species of vascular plants, including many rare and protected species. Sea buckthorn, Thistle, honeysuckle, green algae. More than half of the territory is covered with forests of beech, pine and oak.

The fauna is very diverse, richly represented here rare species. In the Park there are more than 230 species of birds, here is some fodder base in the spring and autumn migrations. Water the Pomeranian Bay are home to many species of fish and rare marine mammals: grey seals and porpoises.

For tourists, the Park has various trails leading to the Buffalo farm, the lighthouse, the Turquoise lake and the surviving German military bunker.
