Widelarge is the birthplace of St. euphrosynus, who became the founder of the Eleazarovsky monastery. The Church of St. Nicholas is located between the village Podsafe and the village Karamyshevo, on the road in the direction of Pskov-Porkhov and worth on the low right Bank of the river Cereja, in a small churchyard, surrounded on all sides by a fence. The Church is a four-column cross-domed, three-apse temple. The main cubic volume equipped with a semi-cylindrical lower apses on the East, and topped with a cylindrical lantern drum having a bulbous head. With the Western part is adjacent to a small vestibule, with the Northern side setback the Church with a semicircular apse and two decorative wooden octagonal drum, which is elegantly topped with an octagonal head; the South side has made quite late great chapel. In the Western part of the Church, namely in 8 yards, pillar stands the bell tower.
Facade design of the quadrangle is in a traditional design and has a three-part division, made using blades, in the upper part are connected by a creeping double arches, the Central part of which there are sections of the roof under which conducted the ledge. Church roofs are hipped and built on the site of a previously existing multi hipped. Temple light drum has four slotted window opening, which are arranged on all sides, and at the top they are decorated with a belt made of semi-circular terraced niches with glazed tiles of green, under which passes the ceramic belt with the inscription, made using the tie in the 16th century. On the East side of the facade of the quadrangle remained small Niska, and on the West and North – only their upper part, as the bottom has disappeared in the process of expanding the Windows, made with arched lintels. The quadrangle has an onion dome, equipped with a metal cross and covered with roofing iron. In interior design of the quadrangle has four pillars. Light drum located on girth elevated arches. Cross sleeve overridden by torispherical arch. In the Western side of the quadrangle is established choirs in the Northern and southern parts which are tents. In South tent has side Church in honor of euphrosynus and nicander, in the Eastern wall of the tent – the diaconicon, gerstandt and the throne.
The North side of the quadrangle adjoins the side-chapel in honour of the intercession of the mother of God, are equipped with a semicircular apse, a narthex and decorative, made of wood octagonal drum with the end of a metal head and cross. Just under a pent roof runs thin profiled cornice. Windows have bulbous form decorated in the form of profiled framework architraves. In side the Church applied flat ceiling. On the wall, located in the North side, there is one window opening. The Kazan chapel have a five-sided apse, and the window openings are covered with metal bars. Over the Central part has a decorative drum ending covered with iron cupola.
Literally eight metres West of the Church stands a four-storey bell tower, built during 1827-1837, in the style of a provincial late Baroque. The window openings of the middle and upper tiers of the framework feature architraves and keystones. Tower built of limestone slabs, then plastered and whitewashed.
As for vintage interior decoration, quite wealthy for those days, when the Church survived only four-tiered iconostasis, Dating from the mid-19th century. The iconostasis is laid out in the form of solid wall and concludes with some icons pear shaped, with wooden crosses. The iconostasis is equipped with distinct vertical and horizontal articulation, and decorated with carving, which is more on the Royal doors.
During the 1960s, many icons of St. Nicholas Church were removed for storage in the Pskov Museum, the most valuable of them are: "the Ascension of the virgin", "the Intercession of our lady and St. euphrosynus and Nikandr".
