The monument "Mother Volga" is installed at the entrance to the gateways from the Rybinsk reservoir at a distance of about 400 meters. The monument was erected in 1953. The statue is 28 meters. The architect of the monument – N. Don, sculptors – Shaposhnikov and Malashkin. The pedestal is built of granite, and the sculpture is made of reinforced concrete. The pedestal height is 12 meters.
