The memorial of Military Glory is one of the historical monuments Ribnita. The city itself is located on the left coast of the Dniester river, about 100 km from the capital and the largest city in the country - Chisinau. Only on the territory of Rybnitsa and Rybnitsa district had 65 cultural monuments, which are structured on the monuments of history, art, archaeology, documentary, architecture and urban development. Most of the monuments on the territory of the city and Rybnitsa district is the historical monuments.

The memorial of Military Glory was established in 1975 by the Author of this project were made by the architect V. Mednec. The total height of the monument is 24 meters. Here were transferred the remains of soldiers who died in battles for the liberation of their city.

In the pow camp, the Nazis were destroyed 2700 Soviet soldiers in 1943 under Ochakov were evicted about 3 thousand Ukrainians - Rybnitsa, about 3 thousand people died from typhus in the Jewish ghetto and about 3650 of Rybnitsa were killed on the fronts of the great Patriotic war.
About the number of fallen soldiers testify mass graves at the old city cemetery: a mass grave of victims of fascism, Soviet soldiers, Soviet patriots, as well as a mass grave Romanian anti-fascists.

The memorial of Military Glory in Ribnita consists of two reinforced concrete pylons faced with white marble. Under construction is the eternal flame. At the foot of the 12 huge granite slabs can be seen carved the names of the liberators of the region. Nearby is a wall with a caption that reads: "Nobody is forgotten, nothing is forgotten".

From generation to generation locals cherish the memory of soldiers-liberators, who provided subsequent generations a peaceful and free life. No ceremony in the city goes by without a visit to the Memorial of Military Glory.
