70 km from saariselkä village is a Museum Siida culture of the Sami people and nature Center Northern Lapland, which contains unique information about the local indigenous population, the Sami, as well as about the flora and fauna of the Northern part of Lapland.

The Museum exposition tells about the history of the sámi people, their culture, life, modern life. Here you can see the Saami dwellings, outbuildings, Handicrafts and artisans, folk costumes and household items.
