Chroniclers and historians rightly ignore post-revolutionary architecture, when the construction was carried out mainly using traditional construction, material-saving and crazy ideas in the style of constructivism. The change of social system strongly influenced the architectural goals of the tasks and simplifying them to the level of public life. However, thanks to the architect who stayed in Russia, he built a house worthy of attention and respect. One of them can be proud of and Saratov.
This house was built in 1956 at the beginning of the Avenue of Kirov, near the fountain "Lira", opposite the architectural symbol of the city of Saratov state Conservatory, architect T. G. Bocianowski. Residential house is built in the style of Stalin Baroque and awarded at the national competition as a good architectural design of the facade in 1965.
Taras Grigoryevich Bocianowski - talented and creatively principled man who was "lucky" to work as an architect in Saratov in such a difficult for Russian architecture of the times, was brought up in a noble family, nechushtai art and had a relationship with composer P. I. Tchaikovsky. Taras not only designed the house on the prospectus of Kirov, but also lived in it before leaving to Volgodonsk, where he was appointed chief architect of the city. In Saratov, his work can be seen in the reconstruction of the Theatre of Opera and ballet (1962), in the design of the reconstruction of the circus of the Nikitin brothers (1959-1963), the author of the project of the building VNIIG at Theater square (1956 and 1958), publishing complex (now K/t "Porthole") opposite the Park "Lipki".
Residential house architect Baranovskogo fits well into the architectural ensemble of the prospectus of Kirov, the basis construction of which falls in the middle and the end of the nineteenth century, entered the Golden Fund of Saratov architecture.
