In this modern and exciting interactive Museum, you can learn how oil is formed deep in the earth, how it is mined and processed, for what purposes it is used and what is the place of petroleum industry in Norwegian society. The Museum is a gift shop where you can buy unusual gifts to their loved ones, as well as a café, offering original daytime snacks and gourmet meals in the evening.

Once Stavanger was a major fishing center – " the world's only Museum of canned food, opened in a former canning factory.
