Tiflis gate (triumphal arch) in Stavropol is one of the most famous monuments of the city, located at the beginning of the Stavropol Boulevard. The 210th anniversary of the city design Institute "Stavropolgrazhdanproekt" completed the project on the improvement of the square named after Ordzhonikidze. The author of this project were made by the architect P. I. oleksyuk.

In 1998 to 221-year anniversary of the founding of the city thanks to the donations of local residents and enterprises of the regional center of Tiflis, the gate was restored to its former place. The reinstatement was used old drawings. New gates were built of white stone travertine.
