Red town Hall – a neo-Gothic building, built in the nineteenth century, is located in the Polish city of Szczecin.

The building, formerly known as the New city hall, designed by the Berlin architect Konrad Krupa in 1875-1879, as the municipal building. Gothic, rectangular building had two tabs at the corners, and high terrace on the East side that emphasized representational functions of the building. From the West side of the facade of the town hall decorated with carved figures placed in niches. Allegorical statues symbolize the four sources of prosperity Szczecin: "Industry", "Agriculture", "Water" and "Science". All sculptures height of 120 cm were made in 1869 by Emil Steiner. During the Second world war was destroyed statue of Science, which was renovated in 1998, eve Mucho. The facade is decorated, in particular, balconies and turrets, as well as the city's emblem.

In the interior of the town hall of particular interest is the staircase with delicate balusters, as well as another emblem of Szczecin 1660, which was moved here from the old town hall.

Red town hall was virtually unaffected during the war of 1941-1945, but was destroyed by arson by the Germans in the final stage of the Second world war. Restoration work was carried out in the sixties of the twentieth century.

Currently in the town hall there are several Maritime institutions, including the Polish chamber of the Council of foreign Maritime trade, Maritime design Bureau, Institute of meteorology and water management.
