The youngest temple Greenhouse was consecrated in honor of the sacred Heart of the Lord, but also has an unofficial name, which secured him the color of the walls, lined with red ceramic tiles. The people of the Church in the Northern part of the Greenhouse Trevane called Red.

In the late nineteenth century the city grew rapidly, so new members had to build their own Catholic Church. An active group of citizens began raising funds for a new Church in 1895, but accumulate the required amount only managed to 1907. For the construction of the Church was purchased square plot of land.

The temple was built in record time – less than two years. By 1909, the Church of the sacred Heart of the Lord with a square bell tower with a height of 47 meters took first believers.

The temple was built by local architect Gustav Jirga. The Church building was erected in neo-Gothic style. The temple is a three-nave Basilica with small chapels and a barrel-vaulted ceiling. The main entrance to the Church is located in the tower with a high gabled roof.

After passing the temple into operation in the next few years decorated and adorned. After 1910 in Church of the sacred Heart of the Lord appeared in a body, and in the tower mounted bell.

When interior design is ancient artifacts, for example, the right side of the altar. This detail had previously been kept in the chapel of St. Roch, and was established long before the erection of this temple. Painting the walls was made in the 30-ies of XX century local artist Alfred Bohm.

The temple has always belonged to the Roman Catholic Church. Now it is also held worship, this temple is open to all believers.
