Zoo and Botanical garden is a small Botanical garden and zoo located in Torun.
In the second half of the seventeenth century on the territory of the zoo and Botanical garden was located manor house with outbuildings and large garden, which is due to large debts passed into the hands of the city Council. In 1797 the area was acquired by the physician Johann Gottlieb Schulz, who turned the area into a Botanical garden. The new owner was engaged in the garden with a lot of love and has brought many innovations. The Park was built bridges and gateways, pavilions and enclosures, greenhouses and a house for the gardener. Rare specimens of plants and trees were brought from different parts of Europe.
