Zelenkofske the monastery of Saint John the Baptist is a working Orthodox monastery, situated in the Balkan mountains in the area called Selenagomez. Near the monastery is the town of Troyan, and 5 kilometres South of the village of Cherni Osam.

The monastery was founded in 1832 Parthenium – Abbot of the Troyan monastery. Unfortunately, shortly thereafter, the building was badly damaged in a fire, and during the April uprising in 1876, during the persecution of the revolutionary group of Philip Totyu Turkish troops destroyed the monastery. In its current form, the monastery was restored 1913, and a year later occurred the solemn consecration of the local Church.

The monastery complex consists of the Orthodox Church and several farm buildings and residential structures, the oldest of which belongs to 1872. The Church is a three-nave pseudometric with apse, with an open porch and a bell-tower over him. The interior of the Church decorated with wall paintings with traditional Bulgarian churches images of Jesus, God, saints. Of special interest is the carved wooden iconostasis of the wizard of Philip of Macedon – representative Debarshi school.
