Royal gardens of Valencia is famous green Park with an incredible amount of beautiful subtropical plants. The Royal gardens are located next to the Museum of fine arts of Valencia. This Park, which residents called the Los Viveros, was founded in 1560, when Philip II wished to decorate the area around his Palace and ordered four thousand plants to create a beautiful garden. Unfortunately, the building of the Palace was completely destroyed during the Spanish war of independence, but the gardens are managed to restore and maintain. Today in the Royal gardens with a large collection of diverse flora that includes rare exhibits and which is constantly updated. There are a lot of varieties of lush magnolias, beautiful palm trees, flowering all year round hibiscus, and other interesting plants. The garden is decorated with benches, statues, majestic columns supporting the original pergolas, fountains and small artificial lakes with waterfalls, in which birds swim.
