Kobilinsky the monastery of the Nativity of the Theotokos – Orthodox convent situated one kilometre from the village Kabila and six kilometers from the town of Yambol.

At the end of the ancient period of history of the Bulgarian state (CA. IV-V centuries) Kabila was a large and important religious center. During the reign of Constantine the Great near the settlement built a monastery. Even then, the sacred monastery was famous for its healing spring located on its territory. According to legend, the mother of Emperor, the Holy Empress Helena, was repeatedly sent to a monastery for people with the wonderful properties of water.

The convent was applicable before the attack on Bulgaria by the Turks at the end of the fourteenth century. The monastery was destroyed and fell into disrepair. However, the memory about the healing power of the local source continued to live in the legends. On the donations of local residents in the early nineteenth century on this place was erected a small chapel, and then the monastery. Construction began in 1919 and ended in 1944.

Currently the monastery is acting. All interested visitors can take a dip in the water from a healing spring, and to check his miraculous power.
