The Grote Market is the heart and soul of the Polish town of Zamosc, one of the most beautiful European squares of the 16th century. Of most interest are the historical buildings located on a Large Market. This home features vaulted galleries, in which lived the most famous citizens: the courtiers, professors, and wealthy merchants. In the Northern part of the square are the so-called "Armenian house", named in honor of the Armenians who settled in the town soon after its Foundation. Five buildings in the Baroque style to the right of the town Hall, decorated with bas-reliefs and friezes, were built in the mid 17th century. Of particular interest to tourists is the Link House, decorated with statues of various characters from Greek mythology, as well as the House Parandowski with exquisite portals.
