The Minaret Evli Photo: Minaret Evli

Brick minaret Evli without the mosque is the symbol of Antalya. It was built in the XIII century under the Seljuk Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat. It stands on a square pedestal decorated with mosaic turquoise color. The minaret is easily recognizable by its longitudinal vertical cavities in the stone. In addition, it is not traditional Turkish architecture lining of turquoise faience.
