Archaeological Hili Park is an interesting and unique historical landmark not only Abu Dhabi, but all of the United Arab Emirates. It is located 12 kilometers to the North of the suburb of al ain.
The main objective of a public archaeological Park is a highlight and Refine the location of one of the main historical attractions in the UAE – the ancient tombs Healy. In the beautiful and well-kept Hili archaeological Park are three of the tower-tombs belonging to the bronze age. Around them you can see a little smaller tombs and remains of settlements that date back to the iron age. Two tombs are completely open to the public, and the third is continued archaeological excavations under the guidance of French and Arab archaeologists.
In the middle of the Park Healy is a copy of the Big tombs Healy. Opened in 1974, the tomb has become one of the most impressive archaeological finds of this garden. The shape of the tomb is round, its diameter is 12 m, and an age of about 5 thousand years. She's older than the pyramid of Cheops. The second tomb with a diameter of 7 m was opened to the public in 2005, It has four interior compartments, in which were found the remains of burials.
Archaeological Hili Park is a great place for a family vacation – there are good playgrounds, picnic areas, several cafes, and a track for roller-skating.
