35 km away from Alanya, close to the river Alara (Eastern plains) is a caravanserai Alara Han, or Alara yard, and architectural ensemble, created in 1232 on the orders of Seljuk Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat I (as evidenced by the inscription above the portal with numerous laudatory words to the Sultan). Not far from here, about twenty kilometers, is located Karasinski caravanserai, built in the mid thirteenth century by the son of Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat I.

In the North, 800 m from the Inn and nine kilometers from the shoreline is Alara fortress. This unusual fortress is situated on a high hill, where the elevation changes range from 200 to 500 meters. The fortress looks really mighty. It is divided into two parts, external and internal,. To get into the fortress it is necessary to climb one hundred and twenty steps and pass through a dark, long corridor. Everywhere here you can stumble on the ruins. This is because it is not open as a Museum for tourists, so be careful. In the rocks, located inside the castle, were hollowed out tunnels. In these ruins you can see a small Palace, a mosque and rooms for servants of the fortress. Those who wish to climb the paths along the walls to the top of the fortress you must arm yourself with patience and comfortable shoes, as the climb can take over an hour.
