National Park Torndirrup" is located 10 km South of Albany on the shore of the Strait of King George. The Park is famous for its rock formations carved by the wind and the harsh waves of the southern ocean: a Window, a Bridge, Shell and others – all of them for thousands of years to grind out of granite.

National Park Torndirrup was founded in 1918, is one of the first in Western Australia. He was named after a tribe of Australian aborigines who lived in those places. Today this Park is one of the most visited in the state, the number of visitors reaches 250 thousand a year.
